About Dr. Dorothea McCallum

Dr Dorothea McCallum comes from a family of Chiropractors and graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College Cum Laude in 1988 where she had been active in the Jr Governor’s Club and Canadian Women Chiropractors Association (Student Division). She practiced in Vancouver for many years, returning to Abbotsford, were she had gone to high school, about 15 years ago. Over her career she’s been involved in the profession in many different aspects – serving as President of the British Columbia Chiropractic Association (BCCA) and as the first female representative on the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA). She was the BC Board Member for Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) for nine years and is currently a Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association (CCPA) Board Member. She is a member of the CCA, BCCA, College of Chiropractors of BC, CCPA, CMCC, and Canadian Chiropractic Historical Society.

She loves seeing patients of all ages, but has a particular interest in helping pregnant women, babies and children, focusing on human wellness from a preventative and support perspective. In 2016 she completed training for the Lumbar Stenosis Bootcamp Program developed at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto aimed at keeping an aging population mobile and functional to the end of life.

Firmly believing that the world can be a healthier place through simple, easy steps that any person can make, Dr McCallum focuses on providing excellent chiropractic care,  support, and helpful information so this can happen.
